Kevin joined us as a tiny twelve year old with full grown attitude and rage. For a year and a half we worked with him, teaching, guiding, and encouraging all the way.
One day, Kevin was suspended from school again, so he was working outside. His behavior specialist remembers getting a knock on the door only to find the property manager carrying Kevin, who had blood running down his leg. He’d been assigned a chore outside, but had decided that jumping from one folding table to the next was a better use of his time! He’d fallen and cut his leg, so the property manager brought him home saying, “You can have him back now.” Kevin still had so much to learn.
