Our Team

Welcome to Sheridan House

Providing Answers For Today’s Family

Sheridan House exists because families matter. They matter to God and they matter to us. That’s why we provide Answers for Today’s Family through our various ministries.

In each ministry we are honoring Christ by serving the needs of children and families. As we encourage, equip, and educate families with God’s plan on how to navigate life successfully, we hope to strengthen families, the community, and the kingdom of God. Since 1968, Sheridan House has served over 1,000,000 families in Jesus’ name.

Currently there are 2,278 Sheridan House Family Values license plates on the road. When we get to 10,000, the Family Values tag will completely fund one of our children’s homes! It’s simple and fast. You can replace your license plate at Sheridan House! It only takes 10 minutes and there’s no waiting in line at a government tag agency!

FAMILY ADVOCATE

August 2018 Issue

Over the years, their kids became the focus and they simply became roommates, sharing only the need to raise their children. Parenting in isolation had hammered a wedge deeper and deeper, slowly widening the chasm between them. But God had a different plan.
The wife had already prepared to leave after their last child went to college. They hadn’t connected as husband and wife the last 18 years, so she saw no reason to stay once they became empty-nesters. The husband had persistently refused counseling. Without even realizing it, the couple wondered, “Now what?”
